Drallah Wehr

A tall and capable seventeen-year-old, Drallah Wehr has enjoyed an idyllic life in the woods of Winnitok—until now. The power that guarded the land she loves is gone, and Granashon, the immortal wielder of that power, has disappeared.

Wandering in the woods with her constant companion Booj, a talking raven, Drallah has a vision of Granashon’s sacred Glade. When the vision leads her to Elwood Pitch, a boy from another world, Drallah wisely sees the connection between him and the missing immortal. Taking Elwood under her wing, she becomes his friend and mentor.

As she tries to help Elwood return home, Drallah finds herself at the center of events that will spell either disaster or salvation for her land. But she’s better prepared than most for the difficulties she must face: thanks to her parents’ teaching, as well as her own skill, daring, and determination, Drallah is already a formidable scout.
